In other words, D'oh!
October 14th was the anniversary of the Battle of Hastings, and I didn't blog about it. I mean, really! How many occasions does one have to blog about William the Bastard?
I humbly apologize for dereliction of blogular duties!

It seems like only yesterday we were speaking Old English. Good times.
You mean "Olde Englishe," of course, Chris. Because nothing says "authentic archaic English" like extra e's at the end of words!
Just don't forget October 25th!!
Chris, I was speaking Old English yesterday! You must be psychic or something.
Frank, I have a confession. When I've been reading Middle English for a few hours, min spellynge becwoms a tad odde. Goes away though.
Bardiac, How could I possibly forget October 25th? Still, poor Harold Goodwineson went uneulogized, and that sucks.
And Crispin Crispian shall ne'er go by,/ From this day to the ending of the world, / But we in it shall be remembered/ We few, we happy few, we band of brothers
